This 60 bed nursing home was engineered for Dalton Homes North East, providing a turn-key package for health care provider Sadlers Hotels Ltd.
Key features include an innovative SUDS design to provide attenuation on a site with no effective infiltration potential. Falls had to be carefully managed to connect the adjacent surface water sewer, via a flow control device.
Internally service areas were located at second floor and suspended concrete slabs and anti-vibration mountings were integrated into what was otherwise a timber attic truss room in roof configuration.
