Carried out for client Gloucester City Homes these projects involved introduction of ancillary accommodation to tower and mansion blocks located across Gloucester. It included installation of PV arrays most strikingly at Clapham Court where a new steel support frame had to be introduced to achieve optimum orientation while maintaining access below. A major restriction was the size of the lift which because of limited crane access had to be used to transport the frame piece by piece for erection at roof level. Other works to buildings like Halford House included buggy stores to cater for the mobility needs of residents.
